Trolling Ferrari
Ferrari launched their new EV and the trolls just went after them. Lets peek into what people are saying about new Ferrari Luce.

Ferrari launched its new electric vehicle - the Ferrari Luce. It is designed in collaboration with Jony Ive’s new independent design studio LoveFrom.
Jony gained fame for being on the team that designed the clamshell macbook that kickstarted the revival of Apple from almost bankrupt company to the first Trillion Dollar mega-corp. Jony was part of the design for most of this period earning him accolades. Apple was also rumoured to be working on a car of its own, but abandoned that initiative. After leaving Apple, Jony Ive started his own independent design studio called LoveFrom. This Ferrari is the first iconic product from that studio.
The exterior design shocked the internet. Though people complemented Jony Ive and Ferrari for not using touch screen and providing proper workable buttons to operate the interiors. But the exterior was total scandal.

Why am I writing about this?
First, the creativity of the people has no bounds and I want to keep this as a record of what the society saw in the Ferrari Luce launch.
Second, there is inherent power of social media to power products or to detract from them. Tesla was essentially marketed through power of memes. Whereas the memes helped Tesla establish a new car company, it seems memes may hurt Ferrari. Performance-wise there does not seem to be anything wrong with Ferrari Luce. Over time we will know how it actually performed. There is not much hope since they intend to sell it at $600,000 a piece.
Finally, the Luce does not seems to lack originality in design. We will see how it goes over time.
